So, this past weekend was pretty busy for us. I had arranged for Sara's friends (her bridesmaids from the wedding) to come down for the weekend for a surprise baby shower here, since they were not able to make it to CT. Also, our local friends here were not able to go, and they wanted to do something too, so it all worked out.

I was able to keep it a secret from her... at least until they showed up at the door anyway. :) And Jenn even brought her 11 month old with her... Baby Beccah.... shes such a cutie.

Rusty was good with Baby Beccah... he alternated between scared, playful, and super happy... If we let him, he would have just licked and licked and licked and licked her hands, feet and face all day. And she had no fear of him either. She kept reaching her hands out so he could lick more. (She has a few dogs of her own too, so that helped...) He didnt try for her toys or anything, and was OK with the stroller too... which surprised me... normally he is quite scared of them.

I also had my first outdoor game with my team.... which we lost 7-0. It was 2-0 at the half... but then we fell apart. But, considering that the last time we played this team, we lost 13-0.. it was a huge improvement.
The kids also started this weekend.. they won 2-1.

So, it was a good, fun, very busy weekend.
