Retail Horror Stories

Check this out - You will not believe it!
My friend Robyn (who you all met two summers ago in NY) is the assistant manager of Kohl's department store here in Denver.
Here are 3 things that happened at her store on Black Friday:
1. Kohl's opened its doors at 4:00 a.m. on the day after Thanksgiving. Robyn's store had over 1,000 families waiting at the door at 4 a.m.! 1,000 families - not people - each couple or family was only clicked once by the counter. Who are these crazy people?
2. The lines to pay were three hours long. As Robyn was monitoring the line, a woman called her over. This woman reported to Robyn that she had peed her pants in the line because she didn't want to get off the line to go to restroom. She thought that Robyn should know so that the mess could be cleaned up. Who are these crazy people?
3. While Robyn was talking to her boss she streched out her foot and a lady tripped over it. As Robyn bent down to apologize and ask the woman if she was okay, they noticed that the woman's purse had fallen and tons of Kohl's merchandise was spilling out of her purse. The lady got up quickly and ran out the door! The woman even had a dress all folded up and shoved in the purse! Again - Who are these crazy people?

Enjoy your holiday shopping!
