So, for the past few days on the news, the weather people have been talking up the possibility of a big storm headed our way. Finally last night/this morning, they said its here. They were predicting some sleet, and rain, with cold temperatures, possibly causing a rough morning commute. In fact, road crews were out a day or so in advance trying to prepare the roads for the possibility. Schools are on a delayed schedule, opening two hours late.. my friends Dentist appt was canceled...

And all we got was nice cold rain. Thats it. Its cold and raining. Nothing more sever than that. Could you image.. school closing for part of the day due to a cold rain in NY? I remember going to Prep in the snow, while there was water main break outside the school. No delayed opening or anything like that. Normal hours.. normal schedule.

Man... gotta love the south.
